Chilton’s Tesla Model S procedure for fixing this;

I wish they had a user option to disable the fake shift points. A co-worker recently bought an Impreza hybrid and it doesn’t have fake shift points.

I bought a 2017 Outback new because it was impossible to find a used 2-3 year old Outback at a “fair” price with reasonable (12k/year) miles. All were either low miles for damn near MSRP or high miles (30k/year) at what I would consider a normal depreciation. If I could do it all over again, I would have kept the 2003

Could be lipomas or simple cysts. Either way, I’m putting on my splash shield.

Current Camaro turbo four cylinder into a 5th gen El Camino. Why? Roughly double the power in half the engine just to piss off the V8/LS swap purists. I don’t care about big power numbers. The weight reduction in the front may make getting the ideal ride height and ride comfort a little challenging.

I think both sides are still feeling the sting from the great recession. When this strike finally gets settled, I hope the contract doesn’t come back to bite either side in the ass during the next industry downturn.

The NRA seems to think any publicity is good publicity. I can’t stand them (except for Colion Noir) and I wish they would go away.

Dead Corpse 2020!  With Giant Meteor as a running mate!

If I were an executive at Lyft or Uber, I would be trying to figure out how to apply the driver/rider apps to a traditional taxi company. Their current business model doesn’t seem to be sustainable or profitable. Their value is the software and the data they have gathered. Want to know why I prefer “ride sharing” to a

Similar to what happen to my wife during a prolonged power outage. She doesn’t carry a key to our house. If the garage door can’t open, she can’t get in.

I used to go inside and get my receipt just like you. Now I just take a picture of the pump and my odometer. Quicker and the NSA knows when, where and how much gas I bought! They can update my mileage spreadsheet for me.

Depends on the car/driver combination.

And the Subaru Ascent. Had one as a loaner, CVT tried to keep the engine RPM around the boost threshold. Created a very annoying surging between boost and no boost. Could see the instantaneous MPG bounce between 20s and single digits. STI 6 speed would fix that!

Depends on the state, although it sounds like the districts may have final say.

Engineer from one of the big three school bus manufacturers here.

The bus manufacturers (I work for one) are surprised at how gas is making a return.  Completely screwed up our projected volumes and played havoc with the supply chains.  Selling 2-3 times our expectations.

And until Lyft/Uber make full year’s worth of data available, this is the best we are going to get.

That was my first winter going that way.  Always heard stories but never believed them until that day!
