Assuming the car is found at fault (the data logs & video show the pedestrian was detected with enough time to stop), the data collected from this may be worth more than the millions Uber pays the deceased.

Lady Sif got invited to the Hawkey farm a few days before Ragnarok. They threw a massive party with a bunch of normal humans. Lady Sif got really drunk, ran threw a few walls, broke a few bones and now Hawkey and his wife are putting the house back together while Sif recovers.
My wife is anti-manual also. Sad part is drives a stick better than me. Apparently she is just a natural as there is no way I taught her to be better than me.
I used to get around almost exclusively on two wheels (motorized & pedal power). Got hit by cagers three times before I finally figured out that their cell phones are more important than my life.
Other than the higher tow rating, I’m not seeing a clear advantage either. Unless slipping it past police while illegally driving it on the road is an advantage. I think they need to cut a few thousand off the price to make it competitive. I’ll take a Honda Pioneer 1000 or Can Am Defender XT over the Roxor any day.…
Is it me or is her right headlight installed a little high?
I’m amazed my wife agreed to make the trek this year. But she was bribed with staying in Canada (a totally foreign country to red state southerners), a trunk full of Michigan wine and Better Made potato chips. Also did a proper cross country road trips where the auto show was just one of many stops. If the auto show…
Good to hear that corner is still decent. I lived near the Kearsley Reservoir while going to college in the early 2000's. Kinda rough by “nice town” standards but nice by Flint standards.
Don’t remember the exact size, but OEM size for a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
When I road a motorcycle, those were my favorite roads. Could push the corners as hard as I wanted to without fear of getting a speeding ticket.
Remember Obama’s import tariff on Chinese tires? Used to be able to get a set of four decent (non-Chinese brand) tires installed for under $500. After the tariff, that number jumped to $800 in a couple of years. Yes, oil prices factored in that increase somewhat, but without the low priced Chinese competition, there…
All newer Subarus have this. I’ve used it a few times on my 2017 Outback.
I had the opportunity to sit in a truck with one of those transmissions. After many minutes of looking at that exact decal and the shifter, I still had no clue how the thing worked.
Something
Agree. When I picked up my last motorcycle at the Honda dealer, they stressed I NEEDED to change the brake fluid every two years.
Doesn’t hacking apart perfectly good cars turn “survivor” high volume low value cars into rolling gold? Jeep XJ’s, Nissan 240's, turbo DSM’s, RX7's, CRX’s, old pickups, etc... Each of these vehicles had a point in time where they were so dirt cheap and plentiful, cutting a decent one apart didn’t upset anyone. It’s…
Actually, they used a tribe so the states couldn’t sue. They got around the state licensing by being online. When a state would try to sue for illegally selling loans, they would quickly find a tribe out of Miami Oklahoma and be forced to drop the suit.
I agree. No one forced these people to use his service. Just like Rent-a-Center, the business model only works when people can’t plan or want something now. If people would actually give 1/4 of a fuck to financial planning and separating needs/wants, payday loans would probably disappear.
I thought the documentary did a good job showing both sides.
Based off their positions within Tesla, these guys probably got burnt out with the model 3 launch.
