They use buses to get people from Stewart to NYC. I fully agree with the need for a non-stop or limited stop rail line to Grand Central.

I agree, big runway, little terminal. I picked up a rental car there last summer. The airport employees were borderline insane with boredom. Easy to get in and out of the place. Just fill your Christmas list with very specific essentials that you are holding off buying for yourself... like tube socks, undershirts, cases of Ramen noodles, etc. Get enough people to buy your day to day crap and you put that money towards your goals.
