I don't think it will end up that way. TWD does shake things up. Not as much as the shows you mentioned, but they do kill off characters and introduce new ones that add some dynamic. I’m not sure what shows you watch, but most, if not all shows follow a “formula.” That's pretty much how it works. So don’t watch it? I don't believe anyone is forcing you.
