Does it really matter though? “100 rings” sounds like in-game currency, which idk but I can get 100 rings in the first stage of any of these games in about 5 min tops, so I’m not sure this is really helpful. Reads like preording pokemon and getting 20 free in-game pokeballs.

Fair, but I just saw that as similar to any of the times in the games something would be exploding and Chief would bring out one of his patented “CORTANA, WORK FASTER” lines. It was never panic, but there was definite urgency.

As part of the mapping, check for horizontal studs in the space you’ll be running the cables. I just mounted 2 TVs in the past few weeks and with one of them I had to put the bottom part of the power bridge higher on the wall than I wanted because there was a horizontal stud (due to a bathtub on the opposite side) and

I had a really funny situation but I think it was unintentional. I had cleared out an entire base except for 1 enemy. I was running around looking for him and he yelled out “Stop looking. There’s no one here!” I laughed and thought it was super funny.

Great post, I’m the same way. I’m not saying the game (or any game) is perfect. Or revolutionary. Or sometimes not even mindblowing. But we all have things we enjoy, and that’s a good thing.

It’s like the Kraft Macaroni and Cheese and Ketchup of games.

I feel like everybody has that one piece of big-budget, not-particularly-innovative gaming that they still really enjoy, just because it stimulates very specific, relatively base desires really, really well... and yeah, Far Cry is totally that series for me. I’ll wait to pick it up on sale, for sure, but I will pick

“and lawyered up right away”

Yes, it is terrible when people have the nerve to exercise their Constitutional rights and it clearly means they are guilty rather than following their attorney’s advice.

The headline has some snark-quotation-marks — “Rivian ‘First’ to Build EV Pickup” — but the article doesn’t say anywhere that Rivian has ever claimed they are the first.

The queen drove me crazy! I was really relieved when I defeated her and it felt good.

Go with Gunnr, she’s the easiest imo.

Each Valkyrie had a distinct move set. Some were easier than others. The Queen Valkyrie could use the moves of every other Valkyrie combined (but didn’t summon an army, thankfully). The trickiest one is the blinding light move. You need to shoot at arrow at her to stop it. You can’t block, dodge, or out-distance this

They were hard but mostly used a pattern or easily recognizable signals of their next move. Once you figured those out, they key was just being patient and waiting for your opening.

I think that we can all say that for all the years we’ve watched these 11'8" Bridge videos, and for all the schadenfreude we’ve experienced watching trucks partially rip their roofs off, or rip off other attachments, before coming to a sudden halt, THIS is what we’ve all really been hoping for. This is peak 11'8".

I am loving the people

Every time I think that gaming might be getting better, I remember the puddles controversy. jfc.

I swear if they don’t crank their puddle game up then I’m gonna write a very nasty letter. >:(

I thought about that when I noticed all the puddles with ray traced reflections in that Miles Morales cinematic leading up to the gameplay demo. Felt kind of purposeful.
