I think there is some confusion on why there was outrage. I thought the outrage stemmed from big game hunting. Whether or not it was a legal hunt didn’t seem to get that much press.

Oddly enough I just beat the game 3 days ago after it had been sitting on my shelf for a little over a year after finding it in a Gamestop bargain bin. The game is all kinds of awesome. I hope the movie uses some of the things that were in the game. Great game, but not “$40 for a remake” great.
