I get all the hate on this car, as there is obviously a reason the guy is dumping this without finishing it, as there is a lot of work to do to make this car complete and he was probably in over his head on the project.

Maverick handled the situation like a diva.
I’m in the minority maybe, but I like the styling of it.
That’s not far from a vehicle I used to have, I should have kept for full Jalop cred. 1987 Isuzu Trooper, Brown, 4x4, manual transmission, manual cranking windows, and it was like a garage in the back of that thing, if you can’t fit in there then you’d need to rent a box truck.
If I was the bus driver I would have pushed that car all the way back to the bus yard. “Oh were you there in front of my bus for while? Not how sure that could have happened, I obeyed the traffic laws and signal lights, did you?”
Makes sense, been sad to see him decline but inevitable. Amazing the sustained success he had for so long and has managed to stay pretty healthy. I always liked him as a personality more than his actual riding, as I’ve always had other riders I was rooting for, but he is always personable and entertaining, so I hope…
I’m with you, I like the prowler just because they built it and its so out there and different, and I’m typically anti-mopar. Yes they should have given it a better motor, but I like that they built something that visually wild and every time I saw one (including seeing Prince driving his purple one) they always made…
I had an E36 M3 sedan and I liked it, and wish sometimes I kept it. I liked that it handled great and was understated, and was plenty fast for what it was.
Agree totally stupid test. Filter can do nothing but try to strain out contaminants. Oil degrades in numerous ways, it shears - losing the proper viscosity, additives like detergents stop working or drop out over time, the oil molecules breaks down losing ability to properly lubricate, the filter has nothing to do…
I’ve leased several for different reasons, literally no one leasing banks on making money at end of lease, normally you just turn it in as its worth less than the buy-0ut amount.
Right now used car prices and depreciation of vehicles are extremely abnormal thus creating this unique circumstance where you can possibly…
Funny you say that, that’s the exact transition I made when I was a kid. I was so pumped for that YZ125 and it was a great bike, but was a totally different animal comparted to a small 4-stroke.
I’m not typically a Harley fan, but I like the styling on this, looks great, way better than than the typical Harley styling in my opinion and has good power for this type of bike. If I was in the market I’d at least give it a try and see how it rides.
I’ve ridden the comparable Indian and its very good.
The 300 2-stroke is a great motor. Agree on danger level, I’ve had 125cc 2-strokes try to kill me. Doesn’t really matter the motor for that, smaller or less power and I’m just going to push it more in different ways.
I’m not a youth anymore, but when I was one, if one was cheaper and got nearly twice the gas mileage, that would trump the styling difference. But I was a broke kid too.
If it had a hybrid I think it would be good, I don’t mind the styling and I like the standard features Hyundai comes with. But that gas mileage is a deal breaker for me, if I’m going to get that lousy of mileage than I would get a bigger truck that would have more utility functionality. The Maverick’s hybrid is very…
Use your freaking turn signals. They are there for a reason. They are for safety and courtesy to the drivers around you to let them know what you are doing.
Nothing drives me more crazy then when I’m waiting to pull out to take a left turn out a drive way and some one is rolling along from the left, slowing as they…
That’s funny, and I may or may not have tried this when they put one up on a street near me when I was a kid. When I saw it I immediately wondered what the 2 digit display did when you passed it in triple digits, I turned my motorcycle around immediately to take another run at it to find out. Wasn’t as exciting as I…
Late 90's to mid 2000's Mustang would be the easy answer. Tons of them out there, pretty easy to work on, incredible amount of aftermarket support that each year they could slowly upgrade another thing on it. And stock they really aren’t that fast to start with and are reasonably modern so not total death traps…
Agree, have seem the same. Ford isn’t the first to pull out of Brazil, many companies in a variety of industries are making same decision, Brazil has lots of corruption and they try to force companies to build their products in Brazil instead of importing them. Many tried to do this, car companies, medical companies,…
I look forward to seeing what the aftermarket will do with these, there should be some interesting parts and builds showing up quickly. I bet SEMA this year is full of Broncos if they can get them in time and build them out.
