Did a round trip cross country trip like that when I was 17 with a beat up high mileage mid 80's Chevy Spectrum 2 door hatchback with a 4 speed manual and all of 70hp of brute hp. You want to talk about having trouble climbing hills? The car had even had no AC drawing on the meager power, but when going through

If this was a gas version I’d agree. But for what appears to be a well taken care of Southern California diesel, I think it might not be that bad, assuming you could get them to come down a little bit on price. I’d get it checked by a good mechanic first, but if all looked good I don’t think the price is that off.

Yeah they missed the boat putting a crappy engine in this, but outside of the Viper I think its the most interesting car Chrysler had built in decades.  I personally like the styling and the idea of the car, it does look like a modern version of an old hot rod. But they definitely should have had a hotrod version with

Ok there, now I feel better.

Yeah, so its an aspirational tattoo then?  They sure haven’t killed them yet with this.

I’ve never liked the looks of this and couldn’t put my finger on it, but this angle highlights the part I hate most.

Mitsubishi still sells vehicles in the U.S.? Wow who knew.

Kind of sad, I was aware they still had a couple SUV’s left but literally never see anyone driving them. Weird to think at one time not that long ago they had some interesting and desirable vehicles.  Still wouldn’t mind an EVO even now.

haha,  nice.  Ouch, sad but true.  Poor BMW

Good summary, sounds about right to me.  The Pol thing, you can’t really blame him for signing with Repsol when he did, he didn’t know at the time KTM would come as far as it has, and I think every rider probably thinks to themselves that if Marc can dominate on the Honda, then so can they.  But that has obviously

agree, fantastic reads, very entertaining

I agree he is amazing and one of the best of all time, but I’m personally not sad he’s out for an extended period. I think this season has been the most fun to watch in the past 10 years, and although I expect Marc to come back strong at some point, giving the other teams and riders a chance to build some confidence

Me too - I get up early Sunday morning, don’t touch my phone or news feed, make a cup of coffee and watch the GP before I do anything else.  This season  has been too exciting though as I’m usually hooting and hollering at some point, which then wakes up the grumpy wife who likes to sleep in a bit on Sunday mornings

I can’t believe the prices on this stuff these days. I have two friends that had these, one was more loaded than this one and he donated it for the tax write-off, the other friend sold it for $800 and it was still running, and this 10 years ago.

Pol on the pole.  Pol nabs the pole?  Sounds weird, but happy for the team!  Now if he can just not crash in the race.

Hmm, might be the first time I’ve ever seen someone write that the ecoboost Mustang is the answer to anything.  I’m not disagreeing, I’ve rented a few and actually like the car and can see your point.  I guess personally I’d hold spend a few extra bucks and get the GT though, no limit to the mods you could do there.

Happy to hear the Sport sounds a little more legit than I expected.  I literally assumed it would be a better looking Escape.  And maybe it is, and the Escape is better than I would have expected.  But happy to hear the Sport can do some reasonable light off-roading, as I do like the looks of it, and personally don’t

I think 1% ever get driven at all sadly. I live in an area where I see super cars often, and I’ve only seen one of these in the wild since they came out.

I don’t like the interior, but the exterior is gorgeous.   I don’t care if they keep  making special editions for another 20 years of this car, its beautiful.

Yeah since then I’ve read a few articles and saw some other videos, etc. that show that.  Totally insane that he was able to go back out and get fifth with that in his head.  It seemed to throw Vinales off for the re-start, but Rossi kept rolling.  I’m not sure if I’d ever get on a bike again with how close that was.

Sunflower seeds and some empty paper cups to spit shells into. They’ve kept me awake and going for tons of extra miles on road trips. They keep you occupied enough to help from getting sleepy.
