Yeah that was the most amazing part for sure, he literally missed getting hit by both crashed bikes within inches. How he got back on road after the restart and finished 5th is amazing. Nerves like steel. Maybe he didn’t even realize just how close that was?

Light a match and put it out of its misery.  This wouldn’t be worth the incredible amount of work it would take to make it driveable and not give you an instant black lung from the mold.

Of course, but I don’t love the car enough to drop $40k on it, then spend another $2k to fix it to my liking while probably significantly hurting the resale value. If I was buying a 5 year old used one for half the cost of a new one then that would be a reasonable option for sure.

Haha, nice.  Yeah if I brought my wife to the Honda dealer and told her I was considering this car I’d love to see the reaction.  She probably wouldn’t say a word, would just turn around walk out.

Agree an SI hatchback would be excellent.

Exactly. Even just deleting spoiler would go a long ways. I like this car a lot, I’ve had manual Honda’s in the past and always enjoyed them, my first car I actually had to take a loan on was a new Intergra GSR V-tech way back in the day, and it was a great car. This car sounds fantastic to drive. But there is no way

Yeah that’s tough, he couldn’t have imagined that KTM would take this big of a jump in hardware this year, and he had an opportunity to go to what has been the dominant top team for quite a while.  On the other hand, he also knew he was going to a team with a bike that it seems like no one can ride except Marc Marquez

I assumed KTM would get there for sure, but didn’t expect them to be this strong this year already.  Pol should have been on the podium too.  If someone would have told me at the beginning of the year that there would be a race with two KTM’s and a Aprilia near the front, and the factory Honda’s all at the back of the

Fantastic race -and congrats to Binder, wow.  I expected him to get on the podium this year, but never really thought he’d pull out a win and especially so soon and by a good margin in dry conditions!  Sucks Pol got taken out, as he was coming on strong, it could have easily have been KTM 1-2.

Yeah I’d say you pretty well sum up the likely harsh reality of it. They might have to figure out what the next transition for that city will be - and it may be one that isn’t propped up as heavily by convention traffic. That may never go back fully to normal again.

Especially cargo ship workers, that’s a tough gig. Most have families and they usually have contracts of 9 months or more that they are on ship going then maybe go home for a month or two, then back at sea for 9+ months again. Imagine seeing your wife for a month once a year, seeing your kids look totally different

If I had unlimited $$ I’d try it with a Cayenne Turbo just for fun.

I feel for you, it sucks for sure for many many people like you employed in those areas.

Took them long enough to make the call on SEMA, I was getting emails from SEMA 4-5 times a week reminding me to get signed up this year, no way I’d have even considered going this year. It is an interesting show and I look forward to going again in the future, but in the midst of a pandemic not the place I want to be.

This is not the XJ you are looking for. I love XJ’s in general, love the classic styling. But I wouldn’t want A. the V12, or B - this headlight design. Those headlights take away from the design and lines of this car so much, I would need to have the round headlights instead. This price doesn’t seem bad for the

Yikes what a waste of time and money. Modern engines and motor oil you can go a long time before the oil breaks down, just not indefinitely. I did know a mechanic with a Cadillac who used a premium synthetic oil, and would only change the filter and then add a quart or so of oil that was lost from the filter change.

Good thing Camry’s are hard to kill!

I knew someone that bought their college age kid a new Hyundai, he proceeded to drive it through college and a year or two afterwards, and then the engine blew up on it. I don’t remember the mileage, but it wasn’t super high, but enough that I think it was out of warranty. So his mom calls the dealership to yell at

Absolutely true at the Mitsubishi dealer by me. I went there to look at a used Acura, they had hundreds of high end used cars, including Bentley’s sitting right in front of the showroom and I didn’t actually see any new Mitsubishi’s outside of the place, but they did have a couple inside the building with not a person

Fantastic race. I’m so happy GP is back. American Flat Track Racing was back this past weekend too.  Was bummed to see Marquez get hurt like that, but will make it exciting for the rest of the season having some other guys who have a chance to win the championship and not have Marquez running away with it right off
