Agree. Other advantage would be having it lower to the ground too. I don’t really need anything tall, it just makes it more of a pain to push a motorcycle or other things into it.

If it can actually fit in my garage and carry a couple dirtbikes or mountain bikes and preferably get close to 30mpg it would work great as a DD for me.
Indeed. I had 2 Accord’s with manuals, an 84 hatchback and a 93 sedan. Both were great cars. I haven’t been in the market for an Accord in a long time, but didn’t realize they even recently had a manual option anymore.
5th Gear - haven’t taken off anywhere else? In Southern California I see more Tesla’s than I do most any other make. Yesterday I was out and about and looking specifically for Chevy Blazers (after yesterday’s article on it) as I didn’t recall ever seeing one on the road. Not only I did not see a single Blazer, but I…
You smoking crack from the NP or CP section? Ford sells a million F-150's a year and has been the top selling vehicle in the country for decades. They also sell way more Explorers and other SUV’s than Chevy sells of Blazers. So what mass market are you talking about?
Monte Carlo SS is perfect for what he wants. Good call.
I see tons of people with Raptors that cost a lot more absolutely using their trucks off-road capabilities. There will no doubt be a large market of people buying these and off-roading them.
And Ford sells what half a million plus SUV’s between the Explorer, Edge and Escape? I’d say a reasonably decent amount of those people will consider a Bronco instead when they are available, then add some Jeep converts, and maybe even some of the roughly 1 million F-150 buyers a year, and I think they won’t have any…
I highly doubt the Blazer will sell more than the new Bronco once that is fully rolling in production, I think Ford will be selling every one they can produce for a long long time. I think they really hit a home run, between the Bronco and the Bronco sport they’ll be printing money along side the F150 for years to…
Good take. But I’ll give GM a pass on this one as they at least have made one great decision (IMHO) recently, and that’s the new Corvette. Now the Corvette will never print money for them the way the new Bronco will for Ford, so maybe they should have re-thought some priorities and done better with the Blazer. But…
Looks like a really well done convertible conversion. That said, I think it reduces the value not increases it. Stick with cars factory built to be a convertible if that’s what you need. CP
Any motorcycle racing at Laguna is fun, it will be interesting to see these big bikes navigate the corkscrew.
I really miss Moto GP at Laguna Seca, I sure wish it could come back there.
Sounds like it would be a fantastic and fun car, but will probably be close to $50k and I just can’t see myself ever buying a Civic no matter how good for that much. But maybe would pick up a used one someday.
I think I know this exact car. If its not the very same car, its identical to one that a friend of mine owned for 6-7 years that I helped him clean up and sell maybe a year and a half ago. The area is correct, its definitely same year, color and options. The thing that would tell me for sure is if I could see the…
I had a Ford Ka as a rental in Mexico once. Manual transmission. Sketchy little car, wasn’t sure if it was going to make it where i was going and I was terrified of getting hit while in it - as I don’t think there is accident I would have survived in that car.
Personally I think they could get past that if they had the right products. I personally don’t care for the stuff they build now or have built in the past for that matter, but if they came out with interesting and competitive bikes in the segments that I’m interested in, I wouldn’t avoid the bike just because of the…
Ha, that is funny and ridiculous. A real mans bike? In that they weigh 250 plus more pounds than your Daytona and are drastically slower than your non mans bike? You showed great restraint in just getting on your bike and leaving, I would have said or done something I would have regretted.
Neutral - ah yes nothing better than the sweet cancer causing carcinogenic smells of new plastic and rubber.
Agreed totally. Some “purists” may argue to their grave that a true sports car needs a manual but the fact is they are slowly going away because modern performance oriented automatics are better at shifting quickly and at the right time than we silly humans are. My first 6 cars were all manuals before I owned my first …
Let’s see, 20 year old Dodge pickup with a ridiculous lift. Didn’t read a single word - scroll down and hit CP. That was easy.
