I would buy that over a Golf Sportwagen.
The CX500’s are good bikes but the brakes are nowhere near today’s standards.
This is a great bike to start out on. Plus it is enough bike that most will not feel the need to upgrade to more power after one year or two. The lack of a fairing is great as the bike will end up on its side at some point. The SV650 is also very reliable.
Around town, 11 MPG is probably close. ~15 MPG on hwy. They came with a 3.21:1 diff and a switch pitch torque converter. Summer is short here in MN. It’s less than $400 of Non-ethanol premium a year.
