My god, is this Walking Dead nightmare ever going to end?

“rip-offs”? Really?

Riker practically screams at his best friend that he’s just doomed them all to death

They made a specific point of mentioning that the nebula in ST2 also caused their shields to be inoperative, meaning they could take them out with one clean shot. That was shown not to be the case here, in which case an attack from behind would have no more effect than an attack from the front.

I want a “I am Worf, son of Mogh. House of Martok. Son of Sergei. House of Rozhenko. Bane to the Duras family. Slayer of Gowron. I have made some camomile tea. Do you take sugar?” shirt first. That has immediately burned itself into my brain for all time.

Never realized how much I missed that dry Worf humor until I got it.

I think it’s a poorly executed attempt to tie him to Riker’s assertion that when you first meet your son (after those 17 seconds) you’d burn down the galaxy for him.  It definitely felt out character, but then again, Picard’s had a rough couple of days and is fraying at the edges.

I need “Beheadings are on Wednesdays” on a t-shirt.

We taking bets as to whether Geordi is married to Leah?  Man, that whole thing was so cringe in TNG.

For me, it’s the other way around. This is the first DCEU film I’ll bother to see in the theater, entirely because I have such good memories from experiencing the 1989 film. I swear, every third person you met was wearing a Batman shirt that summer. That said, it is very overtly nostalgia bait, and the line doesn’t

is that I’m Batman line really cheesy and not at all fitting for Keaton Batman?

No, I’m with you on that one. It looked like a fucking epic comic book film.

I’m going to quickly hide under my desk after typing this, but ... it doesn’t look horrible?

Meet Lt. T’Veen, Science Officer. Vulcan. Are they sure they didn’t mean Deltan? She looks a lot more like Lt. Ilia than a Vulcan? What part of her is Vulcan? Not the ears, eyebrows, or hair... yea, she’s Deltan. Her oath of celibacy is on record. Not that we needed it.

Has anything actually stated he’s gone back in time? The official synopsis doesn’t seem to indicate that and the trailers definitely don’t.

the best way to spot it is to bomb the entire city and kill everyone.

The fight definitely did a good job of driving home ‘this is not an invincible hero’ (even if plot armor says otherwise). As much hiding as fighting - and getting easily trounced when doing the latter.

Hakim did an amazing job as the professor - her body language really sold the doom and despair to come.

I had high hopes for this show and so far it has exceeded all my expectations. Fantastic.

I love how also there is this supercollider in the prime real-estate in the center of the city. Thing must have cost billions of dollars, and the land would probably be worth that much or more. And it just belongs to some police forensics guy who is, as far as the public knows, just running what is essentially a hobby

Are they ever going to fix the roof of the lab?
