That’s a totally reasonable take. What always raises my hackles - and what you very studiously did not do - is when people demand that others come into the office because they don’t like working from home so clearly it can’t work for anybody.

Our company (a major aerospace company) is trying the same hardball tactics and it’s definitely not worked out well for the company. So far on my team alone (of 16 people), 7 people have walked. And walked into jobs that paid better and guaranteed remote work.

Also, the success of Barbie and Oppenheimer demonstrates that viewers are getting tired of the 4K TVs they bought during the pandemic and want bigger experiences. They’re not getting that from Quantumania or The Flash, which look like the kinds of things the streamers were offering during the lockdown. The fact that Co

It was original, well-made, well acted, and I was really looking forward to a second season. As new content remains on hold, I hope a lot more people will find it and add to the demand to reverse this decision.

This was a great adaptation. The studios will return to find the audience found something else to do besides streaming and TV. They’re cutting their own throats.

Yeah. I wasn’t shocked when they killed Maria Hill because, well, Marvel hasn’t known what to do with her in years and that made her the “right” character to kill off in order to raise the stakes. That’s not something I’m in favor of but I think we’re all familiar with it as a pretty standard (lazy?) storytelling

So true, I enjoyed the quiet moments in this series where the actors could actually act. If you’ve got Ben Mendelhson might as well use him, and it was great to see Samuel L Jackson play a fallible hero and not a badass for a change.

I liked Colman a lot but i think my favotire scenes were teh UNHINGED energy that Mendelsohn brought whenever Talos interacted with Fury

Best part of this show was Olivia Coleman. It’s not even a contest

Well, not Sam Neill, if you watched the first episode.

I liked this show once it got going. The humans were mostly stupid, but I appreciated that the aliens were really alien for once.

Going by the scene in Pelia’s shop, the taxi came after they crossed the border and took some buses.

I feel compelled to direct you to this absurdly prescient tweet from 2020:

Ah yes, casting “the Rock”, a Polynesian-Sub-Saharan African, as a Mashriq/Bedouin is definitely an “inspired” casting.

Looks a bit like a cross between Cavill and Welling.

Guy who looks like Superman cast to play Superman shocker.

He’s 6'4 so at best, right now he might weigh slightly less than jacked Witcher-Cavill. I’m sure he’ll go on a typical hollywood superhero muscle diet.

i dont know who these people are but i trust James Gunn enough. plus it doesnt matter as long as the movies good.

He’s 3" taller than Cavill, but go off.
