Life Model Decoy

T.A.H.I.T.I.

I never expected a 100%, word-for-word adaptation but this...

I read and loved the books back in the day, but also liked the series. Granted, I re-read the first two books before the series premiered and found them...well, just not very good. I understand how important they were, and there’s the glow of nostalgia for me, but I’m in the camp of people who think that a faithful

Definitely I think Choices Are Being Made that are tied to the realities of producing television. Such as, if you contract Jared Harris for the season, you want to write things where you give Jared Harris something to do.

I can’t help directly. You have to ask one of the authors. The best way is to comment early on a story and get one of the authors to reply to you (obviously make sure it is complimentary, not combative). Then reply to them and make your case to un-grey you. That’s a lot harder than it used to be since the authors seem

I’m hoping that Animated Pike has really tall hair that subtly gets taller with each scene.

Director: “Now we can’t make Boimler’s hair too purple, that might make things too cartoony.”

If you’re an old-school Star Trek fan and you haven’t watched SNW, you are truly depriving yourself of something amazing.

SNW nails the feel of the best of Star Trek, it’s optimistic with loads of allegory and they remembered to turn on the lights while filming. Plus, it’s episodic (with continuing subplots) and not a ten-hour movie broken up.

We didnt see the Pike Episodes of Discovery and went right into the SNW with no problems.  They very much make it accessible.

Lower Decks takes place after The Next Generation, Strange New Worlds is set on the Enterprise before Kirk takes over. So there’s most likely time travel shenanigans, which I think Jonathan Frakes (directing this episode) has confirmed.

how dare you insult the man’s wonderful hair?

Ignoring the absolute slander on Pike’s Peak, I think any awkwardness from the Lower Decks crossover episode is probably because of how difficult comedic timing can be - this is a primarily dramatic trailer stitching together clips for a primarily dramatic show, the little snippits of comedy aren’t going to work as

More like you don’t understand what the Nona facility was for. Maybe google a bit, it has nothing to do with tourism.

Jeffrey Epstein grew up in era of 70's musicians sleeping with 14 year olds (Jimmy Page kidnapped and raped a 14 year old during his height of fame), and so I wonder how he would have realized it was wrong. If we as a society know that adults aren’t supposed to have sex with teens, then why do we

Also they spread all sorts of disease and sometimes there is shit pouring down the walls.

A million times this. They registered in random island nations to avoid paying taxes and so they could pay their workers next to nothing. Fuck em. Hope they all go belly up.

While some resort destinations would see a huge economic loss, nearly everyone else would be better off if cruise ships all died.

No article on cruise lines is complete without mentioning how much they pollute, and how often they get caught dumping trash at sea.
