Most restaurants hate these app based delivery services because they make little to no money off the order. They are just viewed as a necessary evil. They have no incentive to let a driver for one use their bathrooms. It’s no different from stores restricting bathrooms for customers only.

Not true at all, if you have a large smash burger you don’t want it on a brioche bun because the bun falls apart too quickly. Contrarywise, if you have a smaller ‘diner’ burger you don’t want to smash it in a big pretzel roll.

You need to give the bun some consideration, a lot of the cheap ones fall apart and go soggy on you, leaving you covered in ketchup and mayo. You need a certain level of toughness in your bun. And it should have a flavor of its own so it isn’t just sawdusty edible napkin.
