Now let’s visit the rational view for a moment. Person gets pulled over for speeding excessively. Person flees an officer (and somehow doesn’t expect to be pursued). Person’s family is not wearing seatbelts. PIT goes wrong and causes the car to flip and a child is ejected. Sounds like this is on daddy here.

FTFY

As I understand it, this research was based on online searches. There might be a big flaw here, related to your well-founded comment that “searches don’t equal purchases.”. Is it not possible that most folks are unlikely to search for their favorite condiments because they already know everything they want to or need

Exhaust all remaining funds in legal fees before imploding.

The cost of the boxes of cookies isn’t helping matters.  Is too much being taken off the top for executive pay or something?

Which is almost always better - I did a side-by-side comparison with Instacart’s receipt and the one the shopper included in the bag and they mark up almost every single actual grocery item. For eight items it equalled four dollars (dairy products - each was more than 10-20-40 cents more). There’s a service charge for

Exactly, this has been around for centuries, but wait until my Washington Post article on how I make coffee with both water and - wait for it....... - milk!!

I think I wash it out when it looks a bit stained, about ever couple weeks, however I drink mine black so there’s no sugar or milk to go bad :)

I live in Houston. All the fast food places do this, including Whataburger.

Or, and this is crazy, when they say “medium or large”, you say....get this one... “no, small please”.

If most people worked drive thru I‘m pretty sure most people would ask the same thing for efficiency. Working in to food and beverage I’ve noticed a very small amount of customers who order small size anything because usually the value isn’t there. Pay 10-20% to get 50% more? Small size usually isn’t very good value

I find the man’s claim specious. It is the CUSTOMERS who want the large or medium. And since so many want the large, there are two sizes to choose from. Neither BK nor any other fast food place is “upselling” by asking med or large. Now, they ARE upselling if they say something like “for just a dollar you can get an

Yes they ask only a couple options.  Instead of saying I want the #6.  How about saying can I get the #6 small?  But no, you want something to complain about so you hold back.  I will put this all on the buyer’s fault.

Do not, I repeat, do not let this person near a Starbucks.

Why does Click 2, or anybody, get to dictate a companies default offering? Why should the default be a small instead of a large? Or a large instead of a medium? By what metrics are these second and third party organizations going by to determine the behavior of a company?

If you don’t want politics, don’t click the post. If you merely don’t want politics you don’t agree with, fuck off.

You clicked on an article about racist infrastructure and your complaining that it was about racist infrastructure.

Username is appropriate.
