Doesn’t work so well at your place of employment (un-employment) however. :(

People driving become so mesmerized by flashing emergency lights they lose consciousness to the fact they are driving. Plus they drive in ice and snow like idiots.
I always had a soft spot for these. Always hoped VW would re-introduce it for the modern world.
Half the price will double the chances of sale. As it sits, crackpipe. Stock or not it is still a 12 year old car that is not that uncommon.
What....no Fez....that is unacceptable!
Amen sister or brother. Worse when you find the fried chicken your mom hid in the fridge for that night’s dinner and you help yourself. ;)
How I feel about the state of our country right now.
Why not. For a little less than 2K you can probably get a few years duty and sell it for a grand. Fun large barge to cruise in 80's style. Plus when you get pulled over for the gratuitous burnout you can play the old man card.
They had these as utility trucks on a base I worked at for a while. Good for light government duty but for that kind of money I can buy a much newer and reliable pickup. Ashy lipped Pookie says pass the crack pipe.
Un-coated undercarriage, wires hanging down, yo boy speaker box in the back. Crackpipe. Just because you get an idea when drunk does not make it a good one. 18K can buy much more.
For that price you get a nice beginner entry into the world of Bayerische Motoren Werke. Plus I am sure you could come up with enough to modify it enough to bring some real driving enjoyment. On a side note, with the amount of people who see your license plate on a day to day basis what does covering it up in photos…
I think my wife got a later year model as it had the newer stoplight switch which routinely malfunctioned. I always had one in the kitty for such an emergency. Plus it had weird gremlins that would cause the car to lurch forward erratically when the accelerator was pressed and the traction control light would flash on…
Kristen. I personally have never been REALLY ripped off buying a car but have personally (ashamed for this) been partly responsible for ripping people off who bought cars. Flashback to the latter 90's. Between jobs I decided to answer an add for new car salespeople wanted. I went to the local dealer (new cars) and was…
Same. 2002 Jetta 1.8t Moneypit!
Agreed. while the price is a bit high for my wallet to justify this is a pretty good example of a seldom seen road legal military grade post war (Korea) truck.. Were it about $1500 t0 2K l0wer I might jump on it.
Offender when caught should get key to the sh&**y
I knew I should have taken a left at Albuquerque
He looks like someone’s cranky old grandpa just waiting for you to cross the line so he can whack you in the head with his walking stick.
I like how all the wipers are in the air like the cars just gave up and surrendered to the onslaught of ice.
