Much like Jon Bon Jovi you’ll go out in a “Blaze of Glory”

Were it a coupe I’d gladly vote NP but as it sits with two extra doors and a banal appearance I am voting a reluctant CP. Corvairs are not a common thing to see on the road and owning one would be a pleasure at C&C....just not this one.

That’s the best idea I have read in a minute. Stick in the engine out of a 911 RSR and buckle up.

Yipe! I get an combined 24 from my car and it is heavier with a much larger engine. Seems like my initial plan offers no solace in the commuter car department. :(

For that price I would gladly park my 300 and use this as my daily commuter saving the big sedan for long weekend drives and inclement weather. And since my hair is wind tunnel approved this would be my Magnum G6 as my head may stick out much like Tom Selleck’s.

I had that too. Still kicking myself for losing it. OW OW OW OW!!!!

What is your automotive movie go to? What do you pick (old or new) when you want to relax and watch good old fashioned car hijinks?

I bet it will burn a pretty shade of green/blue when it eventually catches fire.

Not a lot of scratch for a good entry in to local SCCA events especially those tailored to pre 90's cars. Low initial cost, minimal investment to get right for tons of low powered fun. At least you get to row your own in the curves and twisties.

1000 points for the Pam Poovey reference “holy shitsnacks”

Thanks Andrew. Compelling take.

Makes sense. Guess I like the old school cars from my youth.

Probably in the minority here but isn’t it more rewarding to build a 10 second car as opposed to buying one right out of the box especially when that car is only available to well heeled enthusiasts for the most part? That said props to Dodge for tossing out the rulebook and building this uncaged beast.

Agreed. If you’re going to list your classic Benz at close to the original price it had better be as close to original condition as possible too. Cheers!

So basically they want close to the original sticker price for the car. CRACKPIPE

Now playing

Every time I read another article about Tesla’s autopilot causing a crash this is all I can think of.
