For that price why not. Not a rare car by today’s standards but when was the last time you saw one. It would be a nice addition to any driveway or parking garage separating itself from all of the Toyotas and Hondas. Plus it will give you a reson to dust off your cassette collection and rock out old school.

Based on the Impala / Toyota and now the Mustang / Merc incidents I think it is fair to say American cars are getting a bit fragile compared to their foreign counterparts.

This is one of those very unlikely cases in physics where all of the conditions were met to obtain the given result. The odds of this happening again in the same way are probably incalculable.

I imagine the Cars world is something like the one the Enterprise crew theorized V-GER (Voyager 6) must have discovered in Star Trek the Motion Picture. Think of it like this. A sentient mechanical, electrical and, computer based race observed our world and much like with V-GER created a world based solely on our

Crackpipe for the price but an interesting build only for the looks you’ll get from people who know what it is but are then “blown away” by what it ain’t and what it does. It would be a fun car until the novelty wears off or something breaks then a most definite crackpipe.

I-95S from t Petersburg VA to Jacksonville FL. Nothing at all to see but suck. Petersburg is the last city that I-95 actually goes directly through heading south so the ride is boring,

Translated for your reading pleasure.

I’m more partial to the Renault Alpine A110 -1300 G

Where it was promptly sold and listed on Craigslist for twice the MSRP.

Not surprised for a NH car.

Oddly enough there is another one for sale in of all places New Hampshire at the same mileage, slightly different price, in the same color but with different wheels. Could this be a bait and switch?

Drive it like I stole it and it owed me money. Like toys are meant to be taken out and played with cars are meant to be taken out and driven. Regardless of how rare it is or what its worth in the end you can’t take it with you. Ferris Beuller said it best.

I bow to your living in NOVA prowess. I go 301 or 17 just to avoid that Charlie Foxtrot.

I feel you there as in VA it routinely gets to a heat index near 120 in the summer. Fixing the AC would be at the top of the list but for 2K it would make a great car for Home Depot / Lowe’s runs where AC is not really needed. I would not buy it for a daily driver as such without fixing the unit.

2 grand for a running driving SAAB? What was the question again? Its clean (for its age) and who needs AC when you have 4 windows. Nice price all the way. Plus when it breaks it will give you something to do while it languishes in the garage with beer cans all around it and SAAB repair manuals everywhere.

You’re probably right. Pull over for safety. I guess I’m used to people in VA stopping right where it happened thus blocking to road under the pretense that when the cops come they immediately know who to cite / blame.

I like how the car that acted as the ramp slowed down, looked, then, proceeded to drive slowly away as if “not my problem”.

Meh, this still sounds better but I’m old school.
