I used to have a quick release front wheel. I'd take it off, stack it next to the back wheel, and lock both wheels and the frame to the post. I didn't do anything with the seat or handlebars, and I never checked the pole. I guess I'd get a B- or a C+.

You beat me to it!

After you've upgraded to your new phone, if you're on T-Mobile, or it was unlocked, you can send your old phone to me! I'll take it. :)

I was going to say pretty much the same exact thing. I use it all damn day long. I'm not on a tablet, and my screen isn't touch screen. Stop putting overhead into my OS to cater to those who are on a table to or do have a touch screen.

"Everyone? Are you sure?" I was going to say that it's still not available for those of us who use Google Apps for Domains, although Google Profile has been promised for a while.

I can't see ever choosing the Metro UI for anything that is not "exclusively" touch based like a phone or tablet.

I've heard that you should turn your hangers around, so that they hook from back to front. Then, when you wear something, put it up hanging front to back. After a year, any outfit hung back to front can be donated.

That's true, but I was thinking of retrofitting some older dorms. Then again, older dorms might have a metal structure that makes WiFi a poor choice.

What about a switch? I can understand how universities would not want unauthorized WiFi routers on their network, as it opens a security risk, but an Ethernet switch would allow for more than one device to be hard wired to the network, and prevent issues with security.

I just learned, the hard way, that garage doors are one of those things you should consider the pros for. I wasn't thinking, and took the plate attached to the only cable under tension off the bottom of the door. When that last bolt come out, the plate flew up, ran across my glasses, and then up my forehead. 7

Definitely would need some touching up before my wife would let that in the house, let alone the kitchen. But, that's easy enough, and perhaps left off to show the workings clearly.

A word about WiFi v. Wired and QoS. I got MagicJack when I started to work from home. The quality was awful, but I was on my laptop which I just used WiFi for. I switched to a wired connection, and it improved some, but it was still choppy. I played with the QoS settings on my wireless router, and my Vonage router,

#corrections: If you can, use wired Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi is okay, but you're much more likely to get lag __and__ interference, which can make your video and audio choppy.

I just wish they would get around to making Google Apps for Domains compatible with Google Profiles. I'm picturing a commercial where someone sits down and says "This is our new product called Google Profiles. We can ship today if we don't include Google Apps for Domains." Then the boss man pictures something

@faaque: But your RAM is referred to as Gigabytes as well, and that's 1,073,741,824 bytes of memory.

Hard drives count 1GB as 1,000,000,000 Bytes, but RAM counts it as 1,024X1,024X1024=1,073,741,824 Bytes. Since solid state drives would be built along the same principals as RAM (powers of 2, not physical space on a physical platter), do they measure GB like RAM does, or like hard drives do?

How well does this stuff stick in situations like this. I've seen a lot of it on Instructables, and I'm curious how well it holds up.

At least he didn't say "ATM Machine PIN Number," right?

You'd be surprised how much control some airlines have over air traffic. If a particular airline is The Major airline at an airport (think Continental at Newark), they can have a huge influence on who's next on the tarmac.
