Overall lesson here: Being nice to people makes your life easier, better, and less stressful. Try to think about other people, as well as, if not before, yourself, and see how your life changes for the better.

Where is the "Not in a million years or for the total sum of the US National Debt" option?

@The5thElephant: I agree with that statement, but I refuse to believe they didn't consider it.

This will be good in the long run as long as it doesn't become the only vehicle of installing apps on a Mac. I can see Apple doing that, and then limiting what software gets installed on there based on their own criteria, as they have with the iPod/iPhone/iPad app store.

@Illegitimi-non-Carborundum: We all know that police "don't need a reason to arrest you." I mean, there does have to be a reason, but even if it's clear you're not breaking any laws, an arrest can still be valid. Take the example of the woman who was arrested for carrying a gun at a church, in a holster, without

@Link2187: If we look at your suggested case compared to a search of a desk drawer (I know technology doesn't always compare this way well), as long as the warrant allowed searching the drawer in the first place, wouldn't evidence of ANY crime be admissible?

@pentamom: Can't agree more. I HATE it when people hit Reply to All on emails when they should be hitting Reply. Setting it as a default is a stupid idea.

When I'm on a plane traveling for business, that's my time. I work 40 hours minimum while I'm at the client site, and no one is paying me for my travel time. So, I spend it relaxing, reading, sleeping, whatever I want to do with it.

Are you also giving them the gift of unlimited tech support on this? 'Cause they're gonna need it, and you installed it, so they're gonna call you. EVERY TIME.

Also, I always wondered, if she didn't like wire hangers, why did she allow them in her house?

@TheGallow: I was thinking this very same thing!

My alarm clock and my c-pap. No computer (unless it's on the desk functioning as an alarm clock), no cell phone, no TV, no phone. I even take off my watch.

PDF's can be set to not allow printing, so I'm guessing it's just a print driver that outputs to a pdf with the "can-print" setting turned off, and named with a wwf extension.

@xSix: You'll lose formatting and other info in most cases, but the text will print.

@Desmond Y Zhou: If I could promote this, I would. This is just perfect!

Vote: Notepad++

Seems a bit buggy to me. I enter a note, click on another note to be sure the new one is saved, and then reload the page, and randomly, the new notes disappear.

@vinod1978: That's the key. It has to be on youtube.com, not embedded here. At least for Firefox 3.6.12 on Windows XP.

I've found Google SMS to be both utterly useless, and incredibly indispensable. I've never gotten the flight info to work for USAir, but I have no problem looking up the local pizza place. It's always, for me at least, hit or miss.

@joegasper: But ads with boobs do keep you happy, right? I mean, they are boobs.
