sadly, now at episode 5, the unanswered questions are steadily building. and the lifespan of the series is quite in doubt. so, we'll never have answers. bummer.
I am imagining the fun of a Ricky Gervais hologram — rudely bossing the passengers around ("You call *that* a boarding pass? Just what kind of twit are you?" ... "You're in the wrong line in the wrong terminal." and so on...).
