Watching crypto collapse has been a pure and simple joy.

As someone who has been fucked over by capital and capitalism (i.e. an alive person), you hear the siren song of ‘this is how you can finally gets yours!’ and the temptation is so strong, even if the game is always rigged, maybe this time I can be the one who wins from he rigging.

This video forever inoculated me against crypto and NFTs. I was on the fence before, almost believing that I was “missing out.” (The people telling you that you are missing out, are not looking out for your best interest, but have a direct financial incentive for you to buy in.)

Poor people living in impoverished countries are buying NFT’s? And trading crypto on the stock market?  And they are doing this knowing it is a pyramid scheme so if they get rich they impoverish and hurt many others?

That’s the thing. Some “innocent” people are definitely getting burned. But I put “innocent” in quotes because at the end of the day, these are people that wanted to get rich quick by doing nothing. And there’s nothing noble or admirable about that.

And remember, this is the successful Play-To-Earn Crypto game! This is the one that people were using as an example of how much potential there was in this market!
