The skill of the way she was written (and acted) was in the way she was almost always in the moral right, and almost always got the viewer’s back up. (Come one admit it - to be on Skyler’s “side” means making a very deliberate emotional decision, and not just going with the narrative flow.)

I like the animation and the character designs aren’t bad. I feel the whole thing looks a little floaty though. But that’s just because we’re so used to fighting games acting like they were created in the Quake universe. Soul Caliber might be a nice middle ground to strive for though, for the speed of combat.

As someone who has been writing as a hobby for most of his life, I’ve never understand the desire to take someone else’s creations and build a canon for them. It’s one thing to fantasize about differences in someone else’s story a bit but taking it to the extreme that fan fiction artists take it makes me somewhat
