YES! I love how the story is starting to have your character actually do things, rather than stand by while other characters do stuff. Having the character do more dynamic things in cutscenes makes them feel more alive rather than just an avatar.

Yeah. I didn’t finish ARR until after Heavensward launches, and they will need to do something to speed new players along. The best thing would be to rejigger the MSQ so they cut out as much of the fluff as possible, leaving only those quests that are important to the plot or unlock features.

The Hildibrand quest was one of my most anticipated features in Heavensward. After completing the first case I could not wait to see what Hildibrand and Nashu would get me mixed up in next. It’s a shame we probably won’t see Gilgamesh again but Godbert and Julyan are keeping it awesome.

Yeah the story patches between 2.0 and 3.0 are SO dull. Heavensward has done a much better job of making the story content compelling and somewhat concise.

Find a good FC and get on teamspeak. Many of the active ones regularly schedule unsynched EX primal clears and farm groups.

Very rarely does a game make me laugh my ass off. Hard to believe a Final Fantasy MMO accomplished exactly that.
