That headline gives me tonight’s Nightmare fuel. Thanks.

Losing a thumb is a lot different than losing one of the other fingers. Really hard to grasp things.
I feel for the guy, but to imply that he has lost both his pride and his independence might be laying it on a bit thick. Anyhow, new cars suck and so do all of their features.
Well, he can only give one thumb down to MB now for their engineering.
Missed headline opportunity: “Arizona Man Gives New Mercedes Thumbs-Down”
Wait, he can’t pee because he lost the tip of his thumb? Was he using it as a plug or something?
You can probably part it out for $6,000 easy if it comes down to it.
$500 these days gets you one that’s worse than this.
My sentiments exactly. A runs/drives Toyota pickup is worth at least $2500, the lack of rust bumps this to 3k-ish.
Hell, I misread the headline and thought it was a 1984 model year and I was still NP.
Sure, if those are the same interested parties that pay women to laugh at their shortcomings online.
Agreed. As long as it runs, drives, and has most of its body panels, it will always be worth at least this amount. If anything, it will probably appreciate going forward.
LOL, i’ve seen more of these toyota pickup trucks with wood beds because the Original ones simply disintegrated beyond the point where they were recognizable. For a beater pickup, this thing looks amazing.
Can’t star this enough. Pre-Covid, this is a $4k truck all day every day. I’m shocked it isn’t a $6k truck in today’s market. The price is so low, it actually makes me worry that there is a catch.
Trucks are supposed to have some battle damage IMHO. But if it bugs you the local junkyard will have a bed for $500 to swap out. Easy job to do.
Schwinn essentially no longer exists having gone bankrupt and losing all the factories in 2001. It’s now a name affixed to whatever they can buy from makers that don’t have any reason to care. You may get a good one, or a bad one, but it won’t be because the assembler/welder has pride in the product.
Schwinn went through bankruptcy restructuring many years ago (I think late 90's) and became nothing more than a brand name for box stores to sell as “higher end” than Huffy. They are not the same quality bicycles you parents remember from the 70's and 80's.
...do they have special models that are cheaper and only at walmart?
I think this was the part that stood out to me:
