Getting followed is especially important now that Kinja is even more broken, because half the time I can’t even see the grey comments to star and bring up.

Well, no, it’s not the same. People are naturally cautious and understand the risk associated with controlling a large vehicle, particularly when they’re in the process of learning.
Because concentration of wealth is literally killing us?
1st Gear: Tesla being valued so highly might be one of the best examples of why the stock market is just entirely smoke and mirrors.
No, and it needs to be made illegal to do so. Common sense is absolutely out the window when it comes to tech bro destablizers like Tesla, and it’s clear Musk doesn’t care about the consequences of his dangerous actions.
Look, in this market any running, driving car at $2000 is a nice price.
Well it does, because Jim-Bob is going to prison then, while the untested self driving software has no additional consequences.
Not only gamed the system, but drove in demonstrably dangerous ways (rolling stop signs and red lights, for instance) in order to qualify.
I am! I’ve got to keep busy somehow and honestly, dunking on Tesla stans is both easy and satisfying.
That’s not a reasonable comparison, though. Jim-Bob is explicitly breaking the law by drinking and driving, and can thus be held accountable.
Yeah I’m just waiting for the weirdos to come out of the woodwork on this one.
1st Gear: Tesla’s cavalier attitude about testing self driving systems is precisely why we need increased regulation of these kinds of driving aids.
I said that once last week but sure dude go off.
You’re probably right. I’d also like to see percentages of ownership for luxury SUVs vs super cars. My point was just that I think there are a lot more luxury SUVs on the road than there are supercars, particularly in my part of the US.
Because we see a hell of a lot more high end “offroaders” like this being used strictly as status symbols to pick up groceries and/or the kids than we see high end track cars.
Well given that value is subjective, yes, I can determine based on my dislike of this car that it’s not a car I’d purchase.
I hate these things so god damn much. No dice.
Fun fact, this is the leading cause of old age in Eastern Europe, Japan, Louisiana, and weirdly enough, Cincinnati.
What part of seeing a poptart makes you think there’s actually strawberries in there?
Who looks at a poptart and says “I expect this to be absolutely brimming with genuine fruit products”?
