Wow, those two are easily my favorites, with Traffic and Haywire up there as well. I'm huge on Soderbergh in general though, and Out of Sight is just a perfect movie.

It's really good. I liked the dance sequences, which were exciting and well choreographed, and I also found Channing Tatum's Mike to be a really interesting window to view the "American Dream" through. He is a legitimately hard-working, capable every man who just doesn't have the acumen to make his dream happen in an

Treadmill?

Yeah, I think his reasons for disliking Temple of Doom are fine, and I agree about Crystal Skull being fine. I would also agree with the comment below about Crystal Skull being unmemorable; Temple of Doom has it beat handily for memorable action sequences and striking imagery.

Gong Li is actually in it, because Mann has more sense than to cast Bai Ling.

Neither of them are wearing cargo shorts. And why are they douchebags? What was the purpose of this comment?

So, so poorly cut.

Blow Out for me is his undeniable masterpiece.

You did not tag that properly to actually hide the spoiler.

To be fair, he got 25 years, eligible for parole after 5. Not all that unrealistic for a white guy, when everyone was vouching for his character.

I mean, I'm sorry but I absolutely need to understand how it cost that much. Is that a single ticket? IMAX 3D? No movie could ever live up to that investment for me, personally.

$120? Did you have to travel to see it?

Yeah, honestly I enjoy Bay's hyperactive style, and these movies have been so ludicrously convoluted, and Optimus such a psychopath, that I find them entertaining. I don't see them in the theaters, but I'll eventually watch it when it's streaming.

It was meant to be private, but I think he knew he had to say something just to control what people were going to say about Justice League. He probably couldn't step away from the production without giving fans an explanation.

I rewatched The Rock recently and I dunno what changed in the formula, but it has all the same hallmarks of garbage Michael Bay. The offensive and ill-conceived comedy (a fey hairdresser, sassy black streetcar driver), sexist token female characters (tell me something about Nic Cage's fiancee besides she wants to get

Yeah, New Order along with DOOM were excellent throwback FPS' which managed to feel retro without being completely regressive at the same time. Super fun.

That's a great ending. Did he shoot it?

Yeesh. That does make sense. The ending to Get Out, while satisfying, feels the slightest bit like a cop out. However, given the unbearably grim state of race relations in America, I can forgive a black filmmaker for giving his characters a happy ending.

I…also want this.

Man, I am really out of sync with my response to M:I Rogue Nation and Rebecca Ferguson. She did not make much of an impression on me, and I rank that M:I right in the middle of those movies.
