I don’t blame you.  Most of the time, it isn’t malice, but simple incompetence.

The Iranian government are no angels, but I’m not sure what they’d get out of deliberately firing on their own people. I’m inclined to go with the theory that it was an accidental shooting, and any cover up is partly motivated by not wanting to look incompetent to their own people, and partly to stir up emotion

To be fair, that video did gloss over a few other things as well.

The way to deal with it seems to be what people are doing now, in creating these alternate spaces for displaying different visions of art. If the past history of art is any indication, some will end up being incorporated into the mainstream.

In the 1940s, combining the supernatural with screwball comedy was practically a genre in itself. Nobody creates in a vacuum, though obviously the team behind Ghostbusters took it a lot farther.
