No thread is complete without a pic of an S4... where is it?

The A3 doesn’t have a preference for making their owners look like idiots by spinning out into pedestrians after car events (the Audi is more refined, more sophisticated, making owners look like idiots by how they’re normally parked).

And yet you’ve just confirmed the Good, Fast, Cheap thing all over again. The Mustang might be Fast and Cheap, but it will never compete with the quality (Good) of a Euro.

Got a friend who’s got one of these here in NZ and trying to sell it at the moment.

My surfing colleagues were not impressed... All my biking friends were though.

Agreed!

TL:DR. But in response to the image (which angers me by the way), one of the few things I remember from my accounting class in the early 90's was that buying a car “IS NOT AN INVESTMENT, IT’s A LIABILITY” - because they require constant spending to keep them running, storage, registration etc. and while some cars do

Driving in the left lane when the right lane is empty and it’s not passing anyone. Shoot me now if this is the kind of driving self driving cars are going to be doing. (I guess it will fit in most places in the US, or here in NZ - but will be pushed off the road in Germany or anywhere they take their passing lane laws

Not reading the article. Only came here to say the clickbait title is annoying. Bugger off.

Had to drop off my rental car last year in the city the same day they had the taxi (anti-uber) riots... I’m a fairly confident driver, but being on the wrong side of the road AND dealing with that amount of traffic was only made worse because the parking building you have to drop your car off at is not sign-posted in

Interesting - I mean I really don’t understand why there’s the bits in the middle. You can stay on the outside the whole way round this thing, and just take the exit that you want without going through the stupid middle bit.

In South Africa you could only get your car learners at 17, but couldn’t drive without a licensed driver until 18, so most kids were still too young in highschool to have cars - we had 50 cc motorcycles instead (Most of the guys who were motorcycle guys at 16 became car guys at 18). I was one of them, along with a

I see you’ve removed the front service panel. S4-as-a-daily also signing in.

From my travels it’s been established that most Americans think New Zealand is IN Australia anyway.

Yeah, this is what I was thinking. It’s incredibly complex if you’re waiting 40 odd minutes for a response on your instructions you’ve sent to the lander, and then when you make a correction or adjustment, waiting another 40 minutes to see the result of that.

“If everyone is better, than no one really is.” - Please fix - should be “THEN” not “THAN.”

Now playing

SVG is awesome - last year he was running onto the grass to cool his tires coming down Conrod straight at over 200kph. Also this video of “Murph’s” lap of the Gods give me goosebumps:

The solution to this (and any) car problem is always more power. Had they gone faster they would have made it.

I learned a lot of these just by riding a motorcycle. You learn all about anticipating other people’s actions and watching their body language. I think the world’s roads would be much safer if everyone rode a motorcycle for at least a year before getting in a car.

Depends where you’re skiing. Here on NZ’s north island, we need at least a 2m base to cover the rather large volcanic rocks, and even then a lot of them still stick out, so it’s understandable to hit a rock in some areas... As for Irwin, well he was kind of crazy with animals. I remember one show he’s paddling a
