I switched to AP1 wheels/tires for the ride quality because the roads around here are very bad. The fatter tires really help soften the bumps.

I just had a set of those Firehawk Indy 500s installed on Friday in stock AP1 sizes. I went from AP2 17" to AP1 wheels so it’s hard to judge the tires alone, but so far they’ve been good road tires - grippy, quiet, decent ride quality. The steering and handling is softer but that could also be the increased sidewall.

If that’s his daily, I shudder to think of what his weekend car is.

The s2k is sensitive to tires - every time I get new ones it feels like a different car.
