I’ve found that single syllable names/nicknames are easy to mix up - ‘Jon,’ ‘Ben,’ ‘Dan,’ ‘Don,’ etc. I’ve had the best luck at coffee shops using a name that’s common, but not as a human name, like ‘Houston.’
