We look forward to Nintendo reasserting that it does not promote greylisting websites for doing journalism.

he absolutely is telling people to pirate it.

This article is really scummy. I’ve always enjoyed your content Zack, but this article made me lose some respect for you. The game literally just released yesterday for crying out loud. Genuinely shitty article to post. At least wait a few months.

lol Gee, I wonder why Nintendo hates us.

You’re saying a company is not entitled to make money on a product they released one day ago?

I’m not fond of articles like these. The tone is encouraging persons to pirate the game.

I didn’t have the exact words for why this article made me uneasy, but this is it. You nailed it. I support archival and even deeper rights for the end user of software than currently exist, but this... this feels wrong.

Older games, I can understand - but encouraging the torrenting/pirating of a game one day after its’ release? For fuck’s sake.

I’m really torn on New Horizons. On one hand, I’m tired of complaints that the game has “no content” when time travelers gobble up every update in a day.

I mean... they can have games that feature political turmoil from the characters and setting, without trying to make some sort of grand political statement about the real world.

But I guess that kind of nuance is a bit difficult for some of the contributors around here, who would rather just post reactionary news

don’t you assume that I didn’t read the article just because I raised a question that you haven’t actually answered. i agree that police forces are broken as currently implemented and their culture would need radical change. I’m not convinced that the solution is to just do away with police.

The particular questions

“Who would you call if someone stole your car or broke into your house? What if you were a victim of a violent crime, such as rape or sexual assault?”

“The result is a marketplace where you can no longer buy a Switch or a Switch Lite at their normal price points.”

Sounds like you did mean the Lite.

*sigh* I was there a year ago... I wonder when I’ll be able to return...

..maybe you could just stop reading it instead?

That was the absolute best Double XP comic, okay, maybe ever. Everybody says so.

Final Fantasy VI. (AKA Final Fantasy III in the USA on SNES.)

Final Fantasy VI. (AKA Final Fantasy III in the USA on SNES.)

Now you don’t even sound fun.

You sound fun

If Bethesda had that kind of pressure, the game wouldn’t have been delayed out of last year.
