Unlike these other prudes, I appreciate tips on getting drunk faster (plus I live in NYC and don't drive :P). But for the love of God, why would I want to look like every other guido out there with an "energy drink"? Yuck.

The Mac DOES ask for permission to copy a file to system folders - but it's very rarely necessary.
I'm still baffled that people think Vista is "pretty". Translucent window borders that inexplicably change from light to dark about 1/3 of the way down the sides and with blurry smudges and otherwise mysteriously invisible background slashes showing through? Seasick green swirls all over the place? The default font…
VOTE: iTunes.
Back when my 2-month-old Vista machine actually booted (it doesn't currently - dunno why - press button, it checks the CD for a disc, then nothing), the boot time was unbelievably slow. Maybe 2 to 3 minutes. I was used to my Mac booting in about 30 to 45 seconds. (And yeah, logging in was even worse, a good 3 to 4…

I love these little tweaks too.
I'm skeptical of the need for this. Anyone have any data backing up claims of improved performance over the Universal build?
This seems to work well in AutoHotKeys:
I can't WAIT to try this - I probably use my text editor to clean up formatted text about fifty times a day. Putting it into AutoHotKey is a good idea, too. Maybe I'll try it when I'm bored at work later.
None of these cities on the list surprise me in the least. All western and/or southern, post-war automobile-dependent and largely non-urban in character. It's where all the growth in America has occurred over the last fifty or sixty years. And it's where all the hysteria over gas prices is coming from now.
@chancekear: I much prefer email at work. Nothing is more annoying that people phoning or walking over to me and interrupting my train of thought while I'm working.
Sigh. Again with the "can you live without <insert incredibly useful and/or entertaining technology here>" meme. And the answer is still the same: Sure, but why would I want to? If you feel "overwhelmed" by technology, you're not using it right.
Ooh - I like it here at work. I wonder why it doesn't work on the Mac - that will make me sad at home :(
The only thing that bugs me about the "AwesomeBar" is that the links I want are almost always buried near the bottom of the list. I suppose that will get better over time but it seems to me that bookmarks should have precedence over history - even if you haven't used the bookmark in a long time it should show up first.
OK, this is pretty slick but it destroys the address bar in the default Mac theme. ... NEVER MIND. I just removed the search field to make more space for the address bar, and the address bar's design returned to normal.
Been needing something like this for a long time. Checking it out now :)
