You say that as if robes are not comfortable as shit

I couldn’t love the “See you around, kid” line more. So perfect.

Say what you will about this movie. This scene is one of the best scenes in Star Wars.
It’s amazing how the three lightsaber combats Luke goes through during the movies are three of the best scenes in the franchise.

John Williams is “Samey”... You do realize that John Powell is one of Hans Zimmer’s endless clones, right? You don’t get more “samey” than Hans Zimmer and his army of Remore Control Productions clones. Also, Bernard Herrmann is EXTREMELY “samey” and not nearly as diverse as John Williams who can compose for any genre

This, so hard. I get actual, literal tears in my eyes whenever I watch that scene. (btw you can see vortex condensation on Toothless’ wingtips when he sheds speed over a fog bank - I may have full-on cried in the theater.)

Disney is gonna strap that guys corpse to a stake and prop it in front of an orchestra for the next 30 years.

Maybe look at some reputable numbers (and not make ridiculously hyperbolic claims) before posting? Last Jedi has almost made 600 million worldwide and hasn’t even had a second weekend in North America yet, nor has it opened in China.

When I saw the movie, I heard “Crait” and thought it was “Krayt” like the dragons you see in the star wars video games

The scenes on Crait are even cooler if you imagine it’s all red velvet cake.

Wouldn’t that be Fox Four Five?

The Thanos Crown Affair

If they can transform Jim from the Office for Benghazi: The Movie, they can whip Chuck into Captain Marvel shape. He’s going to be sick of baked chicken breasts and egg whites though.

Yarp.

Also is it bad that people want more complicated story telling from TV shows?

That problem was directly addressed and resolved in a future episode, “Requiem For Methuselah.”

I don’t get this. How would him mourning her have changed how that episode was done? “City on the Edge of Forever” could be done the exact same. The episodes after it would have the mourning.

“Channing Tatum and Chris Hemsworth are two beefcake actors that are much better in comedies than as leading man.”

GotG2 only gets away with its silliness because it’s so damn honest when it comes to the feels. That’s their biggest special effect IMHO.

Right?
