I absolutely adore Gin and Juice by the Gourds. Just a fantastic version as is pretty much every song that they and now Shineyribs play. They do an outstanding version of “If I Should Fall From Grace with God,” by the Pogues too.

Disagree on Lenny Kravitz’s cover of “American Woman.” It rocks. It’s not the original, but it’s a worthy cover. One of the “Top 25 Worst”? Hardly. I mean, you didn’t even include Guns ‘n Roses “Live and Let Die” cover. That thing is atrocious.

I’m convinced that the editors of the AV Club sincerely have zero taste based on AAF’s cover of Smooth Criminal being on this list.
