I have flown into ORD a few times. The maximum peak price on Silvercar actually made it cheaper than the lowest option from any other company. I am with you that a silver Audi A4 is not something that I always want, but more competition is good.

There are so many comments at this point that I don’t know that you will see mine, but well done on your passion project. This is what makes life so wonderful. Finding something that makes you happy and moving forward seeking relative perfection in the process. It certainly seems that you are much closer to

All I can think about is the airbags deploying and at that moment, hoping that everything is intact enough to get safely to a stop while not being able to see forward...

Maybe I missed it, but is this street legal? Or are we looking at a pure track toy?

You are asking this question about 100k up cars. Getting something like a steering wheel recovered isn’t cheap, but it isn’t really that expensive. My understanding is that some fabric cleaner and a somewhat coarse bristled brush will freshen then up a bit for a while.

I have been in the ES300H before. It was just okay. He drives about 20 miles each way that isn’t much in gas anyway. Just go all out and pick up a LS460.

If she is willing to do a bit of shopping (and maybe up the budget by a grand or so) I would go with the KING OF BIG SUVS. Hail, King 7.3l diesel Ford Excursion. One of the biggest SUVs ever produced and it comes with pretty good gas mileage and reliability. She isn’t afraid of mileage which is good. At a 10k budget,

I also thought that these SUVs were more expensive.

Also, I throw this out there. Your parents may not pay for your gas, but they would likely pay for your electricity.... If I was 16 and living at home, this is what I would be looking at:

There are many things to consider when buying a car. The biggest are maintenance, insurance, repairs, fuel and depreciation. As a young driver your biggest expenses will be from greatest to least 1)insurance 2)fuel 3)repairs 4) maintenance 5)depreciation. I would say to spend well under the 10k mark and put some money

I like your style and thinking!

I will start with a short story about why Turo often makes very little sense to rent with. In about 2010, I rented a 2004 Dodge Viper from a guy who had cobbled together a business renting cars in Denver, I believe his name was Mark. He rented the Viper for 399 a day. He carried his own insurance and said the

Where are people getting that this car has 55k miles? If that is true, I would say that 63 seems a little low, but not by a ton... I believe that they just bought one of the higher value range examples at the mileage.

That is the video posted in 2015 overlaid with the RS video from 2015 as well I believe. In addition to that, the Turbo was on standard street P Zeros. The RS was on Cup 2s. The difference isn’t even in the same realm as far as grip from the tires.

Hell, 2014 Turbo Ss are already selling for under 125k with relatively few miles. If you want to see something that will blow your mind, look up what about 10k in mods can do for the car. It takes it to a reliable 650 whp....

That seems like an assumption from MSRP, not necessarily from selling price. It has only been in the past 3-4 years that the RS lineup has been selling for the over MSRP prices. Also, Turbos get driven, RSs usually don’t to maintain prices.

Ha ha someone talk me down from the ledge.... Not a buyback car, but with the penalty this would be a 34k car, out the door with taxes and paying asking. Many of the driveline components would also be under a 50k warranty.

Oh and in true maximization of profits, it seems like you could even rent the buyback cars out on Turo for the next 9 months and not need to worry about any additional wear and tear. Ha ha some people could start a rental fleet! You could most likely get something in the range of 75-130 a day depending on the

It seems that most all of the 09-12 eligable vehicles are gone! Good job on the people that were able to make capitalism work for them. I am proud!

And thanks for the reply. Oh and clicking the setting so I am not grey to start anymore!
