Yeah, all this talk of camis and fabric tank...the whole point of dresses is they are easy and less work!

Wrap dress...........Saran Wrap, that is.

I hate wrap dresses. They look horrible on me and scream MATERNITY WEAR. I also wore a shitload of them when I was pregnant so maybe that’s on me, but still. Na thank ya.

Underage preteen girl brutally murders lots of people, and in one instance, bakes the bodies into a pie and feeds it to a man, the response is “Cool! Awesome!” The girl, now an adult and capable of making her own decisions, shows less than 5 seconds of flesh, and everyone loses their minds.

It wasn’t a sex scene. The camera cuts away before they have sex. Gendry was half naked when Arya starts to disrobe. Williams chose how much nudity there would be--it’s her agency as well as Arya’s in that scene. Plus Gendry still having his pants on gives us the set-up for one of the greatest one-liners from a queen

The agency that Maise William's had over how that scene went was great. I would love to see the google search trends for her as people check her age (funny because there is zero chance hbo would let someone who is not of legal age appear on camera in the nude or portrayed as nude).

Well, he told Tyrion his story, at least.

I get why he did it - he's facing death, likelier than her not to make it, freaking out still over it and ruining sexy 'could die' time so she'd be suspicious, still without a fuck to give for the throne, better to die honest. Still telling about Dany.

But beyond that, I found Danny’s reaction telling. Her first instinct is to think about what it means FOR HER and her position.

No way Bronn is going to actually kill the Lannister Bro’s; especially since Cersei was foolish enough to pay him upfront.

I’d be interested in a deeper read on bran’s claim that it’s about protecting history, when he’s largely a vessel for history that he isn’t actually sharing with anyone. I appreciate the symbolism of it, but is anyone going to tell Edd and Random Northerners about any of these sweet history facts before they die

I think it’s been clear he’s one of the best actors on the show since season 2, although he hasn’t necessarily had great material since then.

And of course Pod can sing.  Because Pod can do anything.

That part was wonderful. I’m rooting for Theon to survive for the same reason I’m rooting for Jon to survive- Sansa will be sad if they bite it, and she deserves the world.

Even the line was what I was expecting, though I thought it would be “your brother and your friend whose family I burned to death.”

The dialogue has trended downhill for several seasons now. One of my measures of this is a game I play called, “Can I say the next line before the character does.”’

It’s funny because I thought Alfie Allen was pretty bad in John Wick, but in GoT he just knocks it out of the park every time. His dialogue scene with Jon in S7 was a strong point and in general he’s very good at conveying the tortured soul of Theon in subtle, yet potent ways.

You forget everybody in the crypts. Could they have telegraphed that coming disaster any clearer?

Yeah, a ton of great moments in this episode but that’s one that really hit. Especially after seeing what a great soldier Podrick has become with Brienne’s training.

I told you that Dany would be far more concerned about being usurped than incest.
