I agree that disaster/action/superhero/Star Wars movies are generally better in a theater. A big part of these movies is the visual spectacle coupled with literally booming audio effects. I also agree that seeing them on opening day or at least opening weekend is fun, especially if you want to be part of the “event”…

I’m hooked on streaming services, too. I subscribe to a shameful number of services. And I’ve recently gotten my 73 year old mom hooked, too, by teaching her how to use a roku and signing her up for a few services. I’m proud of my mom, though. She’s willing to learn new technology which many her age are not.

I don’t have kids, but based on my nephews and my friends’ children I say you let kids sleep ANYWHERE they will sleep as long as that sleeping place is not obviously dangerous. And people who try to force potty training on kids who aren’t ready are asking for trouble.
