What makes these pictures "terrifying" vs the more obvious "beautiful" designation? Or does the headline writer have some kind of psychological problem? Maybe they should seek help for this bizarre malady.

Most people buy a separate seat that you can move up and down and covers up the bowl so you can use the toilet like a chair when you need to. These "seats" are rarely if ever made of porcelain as well since if you dropped a porcelain toilet seat into place by mistake it would smash to pieces.

As far as I know the only sure problem they cause is they can exacerbate some people's asthma. They can theoretically cause disease by carrying pathogens on their feet as they scurry about but they aren't a vector for any particular disease unlike mosquitoes.

Nylon gets very brittle and fragile if it sits in UV on earth so I'd imagine these flags would completely fall apart if you touched them. They may have fallen into a raggy heap by now.

Here in Canada we'll be using them for currency until February next year when they'll be discontinued.

Yes. Actually they are dumber and horribler [sic] than stated simply because Apple should know better. Irritating and self-indulgent I expect from Apple but these are just so stupid.

There doesn't seem to be an explanation why the villagers are messing around with this nest. Do they need to go up by that hillside for some reason and irritate the wasps? I wish there was more info to understand this. Wasps sting when they feel threatened, not just for no reason.

Keys are incredibly cheap to produce and you have dozens of people in any given town that can fix or replace the equipment. Lasers and biometric scanners, not so much.

The odds that any phone (iphone or otherwise) will "look entirely different" is nil. What can they do to make it much different. All phones are essentially a rectangle with very minor differences in width or rounded corners etc. Unless they're coming out with a phone that's a sphere or something this should be saying

I don't see this "friend tagging" or is it a feature that is yet to arrive in all places (I'm not in the USA)?

"Each of the following 64 countries has free, unlimited access "

Of course but therein lies a bit of irony. The very "broken" countries have something better than us. It's rather irksome don't you think?

Probably not too young but not connected to your subculture perhaps.

Fair enough. I guess I was referring to the movie version (I'm obviously not a purist, I'm afraid) where his body produces the silk and fires it out in some way that is not done by spiders nor by any other of the silk producing animals.

This seems obvious and I'm sure numerous parents do this. If the children have difficulty being motivated then you use techniques to help them. This is simply a variation on an ancient theme. Parents would take the power cable from the TV or batteries from the radio or harness from the horse (or whatever is preventing

Perhaps they don't own a TV. I don't. Mind you, I own a desktop computer with a 22" screen so it's not quite this scenario. I also don't live in the USA and am not accessing the NBC feeds. I access either the non-commentated worldfeed or my country's official commentated feed.

"According to millenary tradition"

The international peeing contest begins.

Never buy beer in clear or green glass bottles. If you must then make sure they're in a box and not sitting on a shelf exposed to sunlight or fluorescent lights. Unfortunately there's an idea that if it's "classy" beer it has to be sold in clear or green glass. That is, the consumer think that is the case so the

We can only hope they're actually used after the Olympics instead of falling into disuse and ruin like some of the Beijing venues.
