Why should anyone follow any of them? Unless they're interesting and have something of interest to say why would anyone bother?

How Will You Watch the Olympics?

They're all pretty ridiculous. I think familiarity is what makes most of them seem not ridiculous to us. I'm uncertain why anything qualifies particularly except historical precedent. Why not 3 legged races or sack races instead of hurdles or steeple chase events for example. There could be official "potato sacks"

Yeah but... no you're right.

So it's bad design then. If you don't take the actual world into account then you're not very good at what you do. This is on par with if they'd designed them all to go on the basement levels of parkades and then complained about all the dirt and cement that blocked the signal.

An even bigger bomb. Well that's progress... or something.

Insanely great?

They forage from the natural environment (even the unnatural one in your neighbourhood) perfectly well and so don't need to be fed. I only say that in case anyone thinks they would starve without human interference. Feeding them does bring them closer to where you can observe them more easily, however, if that's what

BUT WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THEY BECOME SELF-AWARE?

Enslave mankind? So something that presumably could do anything/everything better than us would get us to do a crummy job of whatever it is they need doing?

These things have been around for decades. I guess this particular one has antler on it but I'm expecting newish things in this section for some reason.

Kinder Surprise Eggs are also banned in the USA for similar reasoning.

Presumably tensile strength is what is meant here and not tinsel strength.

Perhaps people will be treated to people wearing this in public in preparations for a night out. I remember as a lad seeing the ladies about town with their hair in curlers and a plastic hat that had ties that they secured under their chins.

The odds seem higher just based on simple statistics. It's possible that a woman did it, of course, but there are so few women, relatively speaking, who are coders. It's not just a cliche, it's mostly true.

It seems pretty strange to have a watch safe. I would imagine, if you needed to ensure that your watches would have the correct time when you took them out of your safe (hence the need for the winding system) you could get a module to do that in your regular safe. Or have one of your servants keep them wound for you.

You call that being pedantic?

It wouldn't be for me. I would weary of anything that gaudy and obvious in short order. I think you'd have to clean it more often than an ordinary one to keep it looking good. That is, people are going to be looking at the thing rather than mostly ignoring it like they do with most appliances.

I've never seen a colander that wasn't made of plastic or metal. It seems a unlikely that a broken colander inspired this design.

Printer companies are getting wise to this and now put in mini ink cartridges that only hold enough ink for a few pages.
