Aside from doing what I wanted/expected in killing Ward and letting that thing possess his corpse, I thought this was pretty disappointing.

After someone suggested the theory of Henshaw actually being Martian Manhunter a couple episodes back, I fell in love with the idea and prayed the show would actually go there but not really expecting it to despite clinging to the idea.

God I love everything about this book. Ready for it to become the Monica show ASAP, which it should due to Ewing. (thank god)

Several people including posters such as "Carlos" and myself have pointed out why his reviews are so lacking so that's not true despite yes, the usual screaming down anything negative by fans.

Sava's comics pieces are generally brilliant, I'm with you there.

Such wit!

I remember how many were saying "w/e this shit show will just redeem him"

That's where I stand on the issue. Dislike it all you want but when your justification for doing so is so wildly different each week and poorly articulated, I'm gonna find it tiring.

oh man, I feel ya. Joe Reid said something to that effect about AoS and it just made me really wish he was reviewing it.

what a dumb comparison. Jenny's death and the setup, impact by having Angelus kill her was so much more dramatically and emotionally tied to Buffy and the show's evolution in a game changing way. The stakes are nowhere near comparable.

It's so frustrating and irritating to me that so many try to legitimize comparing a network spy drama to Netflix shows that have almost no restrictions whatsoever and are centered around notable comic characters that are telling a very personal and enclosed story.

Beyond the spectacle of all those characters crossing over, tonight's episode of Flash was so goddamn sloppy that it shouldn't have honestly graded above a B.

Definitely. He acknowledges when the show is rightfully lacking but clearly actually enjoys it on the basis of what it achieves as its own entity and praises it when it deserves it.

I hate coming into this bitching about a review score but a C+ is just absurd. This was easily one of the show's best outings.

Totally disagree. Thought he looked pretty fantastic throughout, especially considering he's not the comics hero version yet.

Except it's not? The shorter order is only due to premiering so late.

As someone who binged all of JJ, loved it, and dreaded the subsequent comparison between the two shows, I'm quite relieved by how refreshing Supergirl was for me tonight.

Fish oil was only one aspect of the terrigen leaking. the first episode established it was released into the Eco-system.

I'm still hoping FitzSimmons is going to be the equivalent of Xander and Willow in s3 of Buffy and Fitz will end up being bi/gay.

Totally. I'm gonna be so disappointed if the show doesn't explore that.
