I want to punch drop test people in the face.

@spydr101: Most Mac users also own PCs, but they regularly have to defend their Mac purchase against criticism by people who claim they paid too much. Their argument usually involves an explanation of why they purchased the product, and it often includes things like aesthetics, reliability, and user experience, none

@iansilv: Before you switch, be warned that Verizon and Sprint have the same policy. Verizon in particular is just as bad as AT&T, but AT&T gets all the bad press because they have the iPhone. Trust me: Verizon sucks. If you switch, go to Sprint or T-Mobile.

This is not unique to AT&T. Verizon and Sprint do this too. Loook here: [www.rhoderick.org]

I don't get the part about the smugness. That may have been true 5 years ago, but today I see much more smugness in Android fanboys than in iPhone users. Since Apple has become "the man," they have generated a cult of condescending haters who lovingly refer to all of Apple's customers as "iSheep." Who is more smug?

@Dante Orpilla: Exactly. Someone promote Dante's comment for Christ's sake. They might as well hire Cade Metz from the Reg.

@Don Clark: I was just thinking the same thing about Giz today.

@Kwinten: Oh, it's just a phone? Why didn't someone say something sooner?

I would censor Ulysses just for being Ulysses. It is unreadable pseudo-literature self-indulgent nonsense. I have seen auto-generated viagra spam e-mails that were more interesting and had more literary value. Ulysses is one of those books that everyone claims is great, but only three people have ever managed to read,

I have heard this kind of nonsensical argument before. My question is this: why do people assume that having the ability to make a video call means that all calls must be video calls?

@iHack: Send me the IP address and I'll make sure it's secure for you.

VOTE: LastPass

@psirontech: That would be fairly difficult to do for tasks that require frequent interaction. Games are the obvious example.

Why would I want to use a device that constantly has my hands obscuring my view?

I empathize with you Adam. I too am worried about the direction things are moving, but we're old school. We come from a generation of folks who use computers differently than they will be used in the future. This whole discussion reminds me of my father's grumbling when I bought my was first car.

@Phoshi: *shrug* I never understood the iTunes hatred. I use all three major OSes and I have yet to find any single piece of software that can handle all of my media (movies, music, podcasts, and audiobooks) as well as iTunes. It isn't perfect, of course; and the iTunes store is slow as hell sometimes. But in the

Did he change light bulbs too?

Man, that app is ugly.
