Don’t you know that if a white person doesn’t say the “N-word” they’re not racist? Racism is name calling ONLY. “Yeah, I mean, all I did was deny their basic rights and human dignity. You guys are acting like I called them mean names or something”

These leaks are great and all but they’re just preaching to the choir. His base is still with him and mad at those abandoning him.

If all you did is politely suggest a switch, I agree. However, I doubt that was the case. I'd be curious to see the chat log.

Well I for one am happy thatplayers who constantly spam “GO KILL YOURSELF!” are now punishable.

I dont see why Kotaku made this movie out to be worst than Battlefield Earth. I went and saw it and enjoyed it. Personally I think it was successful and will go see the sequel. There were somethings I didnt like but they werent deal breakers. This movie is fun and entertaining, go see it. Screw what Kotaku thinks of

To be honest for someone like me that has never player any warcraft games the movie was ok in 3D. Its a good rental for sure for anyone that hasnt seen it yet. Im glad its grossing because I want a starcraft movie from them lol

You don’t like the movie? China don’t care.

I don’t care what critics say. I thought it was a fun movie, not great but fun. Would see any sequels. The 5 year old me playing the original Warcraft and Warcraft 2 was pretty excited at how true to form the movie felt.

I guess I’m in the Kotaku minority, because I very much enjoyed Warcraft. I went into it with Zero expectations, a fan of Warcraft 1, 2 and 3 (never fell into WoW though) - and I thought it was a great time.

We’re only halfway through the year, but it’s also worth noting that Warcraft is currently sitting at #10 in the list of 2016's top grossing films worldwide.

As has been pointed out already, but wanting to reiterate, only critics thought the movie was terrible. It has a fairly decent score on Rotten Tomatoes with actual paying audiences. The biggest reason it’s done so poorly in the US is because some people rely on the word of critics too much. Notice how, while still a

Agree. Critics were unfairly harsh.

The domestic advertising for the movie in U.S. was atrocious. Dubstep and snare drums? Whoever was responsible for marketing it should be fired.

It was enjoyable, but if anything suffered from being too short, which may seem like a weird thing to say these days but the movie was only an hour and 40 minutes long. That’s incredibly short for what was obviously intended to be a franchise launching fantasy epic.

There’s so much negative talk about the Warcraft movie. But I loved the movie. I was in nostalgia awh during and well after the movie. Might even see it a second time.

This is truth!
All these bad reviews before release... making people hesitant... people agreeing with Rotten Tomatoes and poor reviews who haven’t even SEEN THE MOVIE YET just to tear it down... so happy that when it came out it did well!

Warcraft could have been a good movie if they didn’t hack it up the way they did. I was entertained, but it was obviously edited for time. I’ve never seen so many scene dissolves in a big budget movie, nor have I seen so many cutaways mid-conversation between characters. It’s a shame. There was a lot going for it, but

Except your publication absolutely trashed this movie weeks before it came out, along with the rest of the US press. This movie never had a chance with the US general moving going audience. Everyone I tried to get to go with me, told me they heard the movie was terrible, the next Battlefield Earth.

My take was it was a fun good movie, and made myself, a Warcraft fan, happy. Assuming it ever gets past the lone movie mark into a trilogy, i think it sets up what happens next damn well. Apprently there were a ton of easter eggs too so i might have to see it again this weekend.
