I loved the movie, but couldn’t agree more - it was obviously just gutted on the editing table. If (hopefully!) a Director’s Cut comes out with the extra 40 minutes restored I doubt I’d watch the theatrical version again except for nostalgia - much like the LoTR movies.

Then you get into questions of who gets to decide what’s good if not the majority. (I don’t have an answer, that question just makes me think. :p)

Man, if Warcraft could go on making sequels forever like Resident Evil and Underworld I wouldn’t complain about the hit in production budget.
