beat me to it!

Would it really be that hard to track down the mother? There are security cameras inside *the Rack* (including behind the register) and maybe she used her credit card at checkout - if they were next to each other inline, wouldn't it be relatively easy to find out who she is?

I was going to write the same thing. And "bust you in a minute... is that what you want? You're only hurting yourself" these are all things she's picked up from her parents, who obviously thinking anger/frustration leading to physical outbursts is okay. Not cute. Very gross, also sad.

People who work in places without AC often buy a fan to put and their desk so they don't get heat exhaustion. Kids bustling from class to class with 5 min passing periods, carrying heavy as fuck backpacks, don't have that opportunity. Mini/handheld fans? I'm sure those would also be considered a distraction, and how

A picture is worth a thousand words, and maybe a little chuckle vomit in the back of your throat.

I'm normally an everyday AM pooper. But sometimes, the afternoon work shift hits me (thank god for "partner's only" bathrooms). Like today. Somehow my kale and chicken salad made it out of me in a record 2.5 hours in liquid form. It was foamy? I want to go home.

Simmons was not the 1st to admit trans students. Mills has been doing it for years, we just didn't have an official written policy until recently. Trans men and women graduated the year I transferred in, in 2011, alongside me in 2013. Also — HOLLLAAA women's college alum!

Reading the comments on the original article have me nearly yelling, "FUCK YOU, ROB!" at my screen.

Below are the editors responsible, if I had access to my gmail at work I would email them now. Will have to wait for when I get home.

6 months doe? that's reeeeal stupid, and not just a mistake.

I try to ignore it for the most part and stick to main roads, but when I get really fed up with it (esp. being followed) I yell back "I'm not an object!" until they go away. Maybe it's time to memorize some Shakespeare, but I do have a pretty wide range of animal noises I can replicate.

Thanks for the support, ya'll! I try to chock it up to, "oh, Oakland" with a sigh and educate as many people as possible how seriously fucked it is to feel like at any moment something *could* happen, or worse, when you let your guard down because it's 9am on a wednesday and then it does.

That boggles my mind. I get harassed on the street at least a couple times a week. One day on my 15 min walk from my house to BART (bay area subway) I was holla'd at by 2 groups of men (construction, and car wash), honked at by a dude in a truck, had another dude stop his car in the middle of the street to ask me for

WAIT THIS ONE MIGHT BE MY FAVORITE

She's truly a compassionate and reasonable person.
