Lt Colonel (not sure if it's base or Grade 3) is currently the cap.

Go read this past week's Bungie Weekly Update. They've got a cap on how many credits you can earn per day, and if you manage to hit that, they're not gonna penalize you.

@Murray Hewitt: You never know. I tried it once and hated it, then tried it again three years later and loved it.

@Salen: It'll come. Just give it a month or two.

@Waffles And Syrup: This *is* running a Snapdragon. And according to Wikipedia, the MSM7230 is rated at 1GHz. It looks like HTC underclocked it to 800MHz to save battery life, like they did with the G1.

Wikipedia says the MSM7230 is rated at 1GHz. My bet is that HTC underclocked it to 800MHz, similar to what they did with the G1. Once it's rooted, there should be a way to get it back to 1GHz, or even higher with something like SetCPU.

@Too.Tired.To.Sleep: It's not absorbing all wavelengths except infrared; it's absorbing most of the visible light, and letting lots of IR through, but not *just* IR.

@Andrew Wyatt: Article uses "she" when referring to stuff from before the reveal, and "he" for stuff after the reveal.

Got my BSA Riflery merit badge with a .22-cal bolt-action rifle. Fired a 12-ga. shotgun on the skeet range once. I will expand this list eventually, but that's it so far.

@Kanji08: Yeah, this game is looking good, but it needs some Ferraris, Lotuses, a Saleen S7, and maybe a Tesla Roadster.

The demo vid from Gamescom showed a Pagani Zonda as a police interceptor.

@Too.Tired.To.Sleep: An oblong meteorite on a steep trajectory would still create a round or nearly round impact crater.

@Helis: It's not *quite* the Halo 1 "pistol of doom", but it's certainly a worthy successor (unlike the ones from 2 and 3).

@serenada: Oh, come on, Harper is supposed to be annoying.

@cassiebearRAWR: The same character customization that normally only applies to multiplayer now also applies to Campaign. You can make your Spartan male or female, change armor color and attachments, etc., and it will all show up in Campaign — even in the cutscenes.

@Cory Noll: Noble 6 is what ever you want it to be. The character customization that normally only applies to multiplayer now also applies to campaign — even the cutscenes.

@descendency: Then install Swype. It's not that hard.

@weinerschnitzelboy: There are rumored specs. I've heard conflicting reports of CPU (1GHz Snapdragon, 1.1-1.2GHz Snapdragon, 800MHz dual-core something-or-other). It's pretty much confirmed to be compatible with T-Mobile's upcoming HSPA+ "3.5G" network, though.
