This review was amazing! Almost made me give up my vow to never watch GoT again! Almost.

I can see how that argument can be made. But for me the very idea of aquariums or animals born in captivity is revolting. The justification of keeping an animal in a cage so we can study and raise more animals in cages is both circular and dated. That’s an excuse scientists use to keep their jobs and their research…

With all due respect this argument for keeping wild animals in cages and bath tubs is circa 1990. We’ve come to a point where we can do conservation and research without boxing the animal in for entertainment, and charging for tickets.

Omg this ep was so painful!! All the women are running out of ways to pretend these dates are fun. Ugh the dialogue is so bleh. The only person I could stand this week was JoJo (?) she was the only one he kept naturally touching and talking to.

I saw it last night and it’s was a little boring, though Hemsworth is still mostly pretty (even through the canabalism).

Just went to see Martian last night and have to say it was boring... Idk why it got so much hype other than its a white male lead playing out the fantasy of a white male author. IMO Gravity was much much much better with Interstellar coming a close second. (What can I say I like space movies :))

My thoughts exactly. The rape scene was so strange because that woman comes and tells him to say he loves her, then he quiets down, then he’s under the bed, and I’m like are we supposed to just go ‘oh he got raped’ and move onto the next story?

There was an incident last year (?) when a couple fell off a cliff while taking a selfie and their kids saw the whole thing cause they at least left them behind the safety line. I played for Toronto Roller Derby for almost 4yrs. Just retired last season to finish my PhD. Roller derby did amazing things for my life but it really rocked my world when I realized not only that I liked girls but I really wanted to date them lol
