Do they have the updates to Office 2011 on there? Having to run Microsoft Update 5 or 6 times after a fresh install after a clean install is a major p.i.t.a.

I'm a big fan of GmailDelaySend: https://code.google.com/p/gmail-delay-…
Let't not forget one of the last generations of PowerMac G5s that were liquid cooled. I thin it was the Dual 2.7 GHz models. The cooling systems were notorious for leaking. Apple had an extended repair program that ran into 2011, owners could opt to repair the system, or have it replaced with a brand new MacPro.
8GB is the max for the mid 2010, but an SSD drive will give you huge boosts. Also, I've found the changes to memory management in Mavericks to be really effective ateeping things snappy as well.
I don't know, but it is happening. Just about every malware infestation I've cleaned up at work in the past few months I have found 2 or 3 BS extensions in Chrome. I think it also might have something to do with Outlook as every machine I have seen infected has been running Outlook 2007/2010 and has Chrome set as…
I honestly think AT&T would have been better off leaving the Wireless division branded Cingular. The image of AT&T is of a big, bloated corporation and all that reputation rolled onto wireless when the changed the name. I'd actually be interested to see how whether or not Verizon or AT&T is a the the dominate local…
This. I've been a lot of places and it seems like the only place that can engineer roads well with any constancy is CA. I spent a week in Westchester County NY for work awhile back and I could not get over how poorly designed the roads were. Very short, sharply cornered exit ramps with no banking/sloping…
Swimming is a great workout too, though it usually requires a little more time investment to get to/from a pool. Great for building strength and endurance. There is a great 0 to 1mile program that will have almost anyone swimming a mile straight inside 6 weeks.
This and they have them for dishwashers too. I've also heard from multiple plumbers that the container material rarely fully dissolves and has a tendency to congeal and clog drains, plus you're adding a bunch of plastic-y particulates into your wastewater. I think our oceans have enough plastic for a few decades.
Nothing against sports casters, but sometimes it is just too distracting. One of my favorite things about NBCs internet coverage of the Olympics was being able to watch the events live at my desk at work without someone filling every second of airtime with their voice. For me it's 50/50. If I'm immersed in the…
See if it just works in the headphone jack of your computer. The headphone jacks on MacBooks have worked with iPhone buds for awhile, I can't see a reason some other PC manufacturers haven't picked up on this.
That makes a lot of sense. I'm thinking his crew isn't dead though. Those cryo/stasis pods have a Federation emblem on them. Look close. Kahn and the augments were launched pre-federation, so it is likely not them. My money is on something tragic happened the villain's character's crew and they were all placed in…
They called it "Superconducting Super Collider?" Who was building this Aperture Science? Maybe it's not so abandoned...
It is basically a space drone that looks and operates like a mini space shuttle, though unmanned. It has a payload bay that can be used to launch and retrieve satellites. The last time the Air Force launched it, it was in orbit for 18 months conducting a top secret "test flight."
I think it is an unfortunate side effect of the patent war that has been raging. You can't blame Apple for this, blame the patent trolls that popped up and started suing all the large manufacturers for really stupid things. It sparked a Intelectual Property Arms Race. So now everyone patents every stupid detail about…
And those planes are clearly not T-38s.
Well, if you take your time and research, you can build a better system than a Mini for a lot less than $599. I just built a hackintosh for about $260 that blows away the base Mini. Yes it is not as small as a mini, but still has a pretty small footprint being a low profile mATX.
