I’m more curious about efficiency. Like E-85, if it causes you to use more gas to go the same distance, even if it’s emitting fewer of certain particles, is it really helping?

This is my question. Is it something as simple as splicing one in to an existing system? How much of a performance hit are we really taking?

RE: 1st gear, but how do those filters effect performance. If the impact is negligible and usable lifetime long enough, I wouldn’t mind installing them on my truck. If it’s going to kill 10% or more power and need to be replaced every few years then fuck that.

I’ve gotten that a lot. But in reality, I’m just an old Gen X New Yorker who digs masks. People don’t notice me. When you turn 40 something, everyone just ignores you.

Her husband was a Trump campaign staffer as well.  And she’d never tried a case when appointed.  And the BAR rated her as unqualified....but for some reason she’s got the authority to unilaterally dictate public health policy with more authority than the CDC.

People act like wearing a mask for a couple hours on an air conditioned plane where you sit in your seat for 99% of the time is so insufferable.

Truly love how as a society, we have our house on fire, and are constantly deciding to send the fire department home, and remove any fire preventing measures; sprinklers, fire resistant material to our home.

It’s fucked up that they did this midflight, with people that only felt comfortable flying because everyone was going to wear masks and that ended midflight in a space they didn’t have the option of leaving (like a restaurant or store). I was on a flight on Sunday with a child and we wouldn’t have flown without…
